Refresh Cache on Comment

Alex Crome.CS 2008.5 Documentation

Instantly clears the cache when a blog or media gallery comment is posted so the comment appears straight away.

Installation

  1. Download AlexCrome.CS 2008.
  2. Copy AlexCrome.CS.dll to the /bin/ directory of your website. 
  3. Ensure your the communityserver_override.config file contains the following
    <Override xpath="/CommunityServer/CSModules" mode="add">
    <add name="RefreshCacheOnComment" type="AlexCrome.CS.Modules.RefreshCacheOnComment, AlexCrome.CS" />
</Override>

    Hi Alex - we've implemented this but it only seems to work on Media items, not for Blog posts.  Any ideas?

    We're running build 4.1.31106.3070
